TTT1715 April 10 Science March

Legions of lab-coated scientists are not the first images that come to mind when you think of marches and demonstrations. Yet thousands of scientists and their supporters will be marching on Earth Day, April 22, in Washington, D.C. and cities across the country to proclaim the critical importance of scientific research. Three Twin Cities scientists join TruthToTell host Tom O’Connell to discuss the issues behind the march and why the scientific approach to knowledge is critical to the health of our nation and world.

Guests:

Dr. John Abraham, professor of thermal science, University of St. Thomas

Dr. Thomas Hickson, professor of geology, University of St. Thomas

Collette Adkins, Center for Biological Diversity
