TTT1824 June 18 Community Food Assistance

You know the old saying, “No good deed goes unpunished.” In the world of politics and public policy, the same holds for good ideas. Food stamps help prevent hunger for millions of Americans. Sustainable agricultural practices support family farmers, rural communities, and the natural environment. The census, ordained in our Constitution, updates and documents the changing face of America every 10 years. What’s not to like?

TTT talks to three guests who champion these and other ideas that serve the common good:  Katie Costello, Community Food System Program associate for the Institute of Agriculture and Trade Policy; Ben Anderson, policy director of the Land Stewardship Project; and Bob Tracy, director of public policy at the Minnesota Council on Foundations.
