Minneapolis’ 13th Ward is by most measures a great neighborhood to live in. Beautiful parks, wonderful shops and restaurants, good schools and friendly neighbors. Bad stuff doesn’t happen here — until it does. City Council Member Linea Palmisano will talk about her work representing the ward in the wake of the tragic police shooting of Justine Damond. Also, Minnesota Housing Partnership staff members Carolyn Szcezepanski and Jeremy Schroeder will share bright spots and challenges in the ongoing fight for affordable housing in neighborhoods in cities and towns across the state.
