The Twin Cities area is facing a housing crisis. Rents and housing prices are sky high; vacancy rates low. The fight for affordable housing takes different shapes in different communities. What remains central is remembering the individuals and families who depend not only on shelter, but thriving communities and a place they can call home.

Joining TruthToTell are guests from two communities that are connecting the dots. Greta Callahan is a resident of Minneapolis and an active member of the Minneapolis Federation of Teachers who sees the impact housing instability has on low-income families. Richfield City Council Member Maria Regan Gonzales is committed to keeping her city a place where families of all income levels can survive and thrive.
