TTT1827 July 9 Supreme Court

Once again, the United States Supreme Court was at the center of our national debate as it delivered decisions on issues ranging from collective bargaining and the “Muslim” ban to gerrymandering and Internet privacy. And as the Roberts court concluded its controversial session, Justice Anthony Kennedy announced his retirement, setting up a confirmation battle that will shape the direction of the court in the years ahead.

University of Minnesota law professor Jill Hasday joins TruthToTell to shed some light on several of these decisions and help us understand the constitutional basis for the confirmation process. She will also share her views on the nation’s evolving perspectives on women’s rights and the Constitution.
